The wait is over! The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the results for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024. BSEB Chairperson, Anand Kishore, revealed the results on November 18, 2024, at 1:45 PM.   2. Look for the "Result" link on the homepage and click on it.
  3. Enter your credentials (username and password) in the required fields.
  4. Your result will appear on the screen. Download or take a screenshot of the result for your records.

BSEB STET 2024 Result Breakdown:

A total of 4,23,822 candidates appeared for the STET 2024 exams. The exams were conducted for two papers: Paper-1 for Class 9-10 teacher eligibility and Paper-2 for Class 11-12 teacher eligibility. Let’s take a closer look at the results:

  • Paper-1 (Eligibility Test for Class 9-10 Teachers):

    • Candidates Appeared: 2,63,911
    • Candidates Passed: 1,94,697
    • Pass Percentage: 73.77%
  • Paper-2 (Eligibility Test for Class 11-12 Teachers):

    • Candidates Appeared: 1,59,911
    • Pass Percentage: 64.44%
  • Overall Pass Percentage for both papers: 70.25%

This year’s results show a slight dip in the pass percentage compared to 2023, but still, a majority of candidates managed to clear the exam.


Comparing 2024 Results with 2023:

For those who took the 2023 STET, here’s how the results compare:

  • In 2023, 3,00,726 candidates qualified the exam, with an overall pass percentage of 79.79%.
    • Paper-1 Pass Percentage (2023): 82.90%
    • Paper-2 Pass Percentage (2023): 74.37%

While the overall pass percentage has decreased this year, the 70.25% still represents a strong showing, and many aspirants have successfully achieved the qualification needed to apply for teaching positions.
